Very good baked goods, you can tell that you are welcome, there is always time for a short exchange. In other words, the basic elements of sales (as I also learned them myself) are implemented there. Many other businesses can learn from this.

This bakery is second to none. The quality and transparency is top class and the concept of humanity (added value pretzel with donation / work with physically disadvantaged people) makes this bakery an absolute must for me when I'm around. This is exemplary entrepreneurship with a heart!

Super tasty bread and baguettes! An incredibly friendly team, good ingredients, great products ... and then also a social enterprise, I like to shop again and again with a clear conscience. Think global, shop local!

By far the best pretzels in Karlsruhe. Come closest to the Bavarian ones from our homeland. The baguettes, especially the one with walnut, are good too. Unfortunately, I'm not at all convinced of the rolls. We'll continue to buy them elsewhere.

My absolute favorite baker in Karlsruhe. There is nothing here that does not taste good. The yeast pastries are a dream, but so are the sandwiches or the Laugentaler. The grain rolls and breads are really full of grains too. The shortbread for Christmas is so delicious! The employees of the Schmidt bakery are all super friendly and the bakers also have a smile on their face in the glass bakery. Every now and then there is also a sample to go shopping. The social commitment is great and I like to support you with my purchase! Please keep it up!

The best baker in town! You can watch the bakers at work, very tasty products and a wide variety of different products. Often the rolls and co. Fresh from the oven, which means they are still warm. A dream!

The first time I came across this "REAL!" Stumbled upon bakery. I have to say 5 stars are far too few! I live 30 km away from Karlsruhe. The shop window laughed at me and I thought I'd give it a try. I have to admit: great offers, very freshly filled rolls and very tasty. Staff was friendly, the price may be a bit higher than the 0-8-15 bakeries, but as you can see, this bakery produces itself and here you have to calculate the costs differently, so it's worth everything for the price. I'm jealous that we don't have such a bakery in the area. If I lived nearby, I would get something there every day and not, as I always do, from Peter's or Hatz, where I am a regular customer. By comparison, I now know that there are no real bakeries compared to this one without wanting to badmouth anyone.

The Kirschtasche is to queue for! I just like it so much. Perfect flakey pastry and tasty filling (not too sweet which adds points). They should make more of this kind maybe with chocolate? Pretty pretty please? The pretzel is like others - tough for me to chew. But that’s how it is in this part of Germany. Please add more chocolate options. ?

Came with high expectations, but left little disappointed. We had two different pastries, but both were a little too dry and have had them more flavourful many times. Having said that, they were both tasty and it's still worth going there. But we didn't have a 4.8-star worthy experience.

Good stuff for the coffee hour.

Truly unique in Germany, or at least by my travels. Every other city bakery only warms up already par-baked items and calls it fresh. However this bakery makes the dough and the goods right in front of you! Super fresh taste, and some great and innovative snacks. We liked it so much we went back for lunch a second day!
